COOKING TIPS FOR REDUCING FAT IN THE DIET

*Use very little or minimal cooking oil. *Avoid reusage of the oil. Heating oil for several times will increase the saturated fat content.*Suggested oil for cooking are sunflower oil ,Safflower oil , Gingelly oil , Groundout oil , mustard oil s, olive oil , Rice brown oil etc,*It is better to alternate or switch the cooking oil once in every month instead of using one particular variety of oil.*Boil food,instead of frying.* Before cooking non vegetarian food, it is better to remove the skin off via meat or chicken.*Eat chicken (after removing skin ) or fish instead of beef , pork , and mutton.*Use a small spoon for oil rather than pouring it from the container . This would control the intake of more oil.cooking in low flame with little bit of oil rather than using more oil is safe , so that it does not stick to the kadai or utensil.*Non stick utensils can be used to cook in zero oil.*Non stick utensils can be used especially for dosas,chappatis,rotis,addais.* it is better to have non vegetarian food in the form of gravy with less oil rather than fully fried in oil.*it is better to eat steamed foods like idlis, idiyappam ,
